Terms & Conditions – use of The Makeup Space services via its Website/Mobile App

Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before accessing, using or obtaining any materials, information, products or services from The Makeup Space (MUS). By accessing MUS website, mobile or tablet application, or any other feature or other Makeup Space platform (collectively “Our Website”) you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

  1. Account Terms
  2. To access and use the services, you must register for a MUS account (“Account”) by providing full legal name, current address phone number, a valid email address, and any other information indicates as required. MUS may reject your application for an Account, or cancel an existing account, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
  3. You must be the older of : (i) 18 years, or (ii) at least the age majority in the jurisdiction where you reside and from which you use the services to open an account.
  4. You acknowledge that MUS will use the email address provided on opening an account or as update by you from time to time as the primary method for communication with you.
  5. You are responsible for keeping the username and password secure. MUS cannot be held for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain the security of the account and password.
  6. You are responsible for all the activity and content such photos, images, videos, graphics, written content, audio files, code information, or data uploaded, collected, generated, stored, displayed, distributed transmitted, or exhibited on or in connection with Account.
  7. A breach or violation of any of Terms of Service specified herein as determined at the sole discretion of the MUS may result in immediate termination of the service and closure of the your account.
  • Intellectual Property 

The contents, logo and other visual media you created is your property and is protected by copyright laws.

  • Termination 

Users’ accounts on MUS website and mobile app or users’ access to the company website and mobile (even if users don’t have an account with MUS) can be terminated in case of abuses or at the sole discretion of MUS.

  • Governing Law 

All users are bound by the laws relevant laws of Zimbabwe

  • Links To Other Web Sites 

MUS is responsible for any third party websites that MUS may link to. Users are responsible for reading and agreeing (or disagreeing) with the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policies of these third parties.

  • Content 
  • MUS website or mobile app allows users to create content and make that content public to other users. Users own the rights to the content they have created. Users must give MUS (the website or mobile app developer) the permission or license so that MUS can share this content on its website/mobile app and to make it available to other users.
  • Content created by users is public to other users, and must meet POTRAZ and ZISPA requirements. If any content is found to be a copyright infringement, MUS will respond to any order to takedown notices received and will take down the content.
  • Limit of What Users Can Do 

By agreeing to use MUS service, users also agree to not do certain things. Users agree not to use MUS to do the following:

  1. To abuse harass threaten, impersonate or intimidate any person;
  2. To post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane or that infringes any copyright or other right of any person;
  3. To communicate with 500px representatives or other users in an abusive manner;
  4. For any purpose (including posting to viewing content) that is not permitted under the laws of Zimbabwe
  5. To post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any content that is designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from other users;
  6. To create or transmit any unwanted ‘spam’ to any person or URL
  7. To create multiple accounts for the purposes of voting for or against users’ visual content
  8. To post copyright content that does not belong to MUS, unless commenting in blogs, where users may such content subject to providing appropriate attribution to the copyright owner and a link to source of the content
